As of September 2015, Maggiano's Little Italy offers desserts such as warm apple crostada, New York-style cheesecake, Nonna's toasted pound cake and crème brulée. Maggiano's also offers a mini dessert sampler with five individual-sized portions of tiramisu, crème brulée, apple crostada, chocolate zuccotto bites and New York-style cheesecake.
Maggiano's warm apple crostada is a pastry-style dessert served à la mode with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce. The New York-style cheesecake comes topped with a seasonal berry sauce and fresh berries. Nonna's toasted pound cake includes hot fudge, vanilla bean ice cream and caramelized bananas. Maggiano's crème brulée has a hint of citrus and is topped with a crust of caramelized sugar and fresh berries. The chocolate zuccotto cake has layers of Sambuca mousse.
Maggiano's dessert menu also includes tiramisu, Vera's lemon cookies, vanilla bean profiteroles, Italian Spumoni ice cream and vanilla bean ice cream. The tiramisu is a classic Italian dessert made with ladyfinger cookies soaked in espresso and mascarpone cheese. Vera's lemon cookies come in portions of six cookies and have a lemon frosting topping. Maggiano's vanilla bean profiteroles are similar to ice cream sandwiches with a small hollow pastry cut in half with a filling of ice cream and a topping of hot fudge.
