Frozen chicken wings may be deep fried by placing the wings in a large skillet or deep fryer filled with vegetable oil at a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 to 12 minutes. When done, the wings should be crispy.
- Prepare the fryer
Pour vegetable oil into a large skillet or deep fryer. Typically, the amount of vegetable oil required is 2 quarts. However, the amount of oil varies depending upon the size of the skillet or deep fryer and the number of frozen wings being fried.
- Fry the wings
Heat the vegetable oil to a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Slowly place the frozen wings into the hot oil, being careful to avoid causing the hot oil to splash. Fry the wings for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are crispy and done.
- Let the wings cool, and serve
Once the frozen wings have finished frying, remove the wings from the skillet or fryer, and set them aside in a plate or bowl. Turn off the heat and allow the oil to cool. Once cool, remove the oil from the skillet or fryer and dispose of properly. The wings are now ready to be eaten. If desired, a sauce may be poured over the wings for added flavor.
