This recipe requires 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 pound of sliced mushrooms, 2 medium onions (halved and sliced), 2 chopped red bell peppers, 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped), 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, 2 pounds of lean beef chuck (cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces), 1/4 cup sweet paprika, 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of caraway seeds, 2 cups of low-sodium beef broth, 4 teaspoons of tomato paste and egg noodles. First, brown the beef in vegetable oil. Then, stir in paprika, flour and caraway seeds. Cook for one minute. Add 1 cup of beef broth and then put it in the Crock-Pot. Add the rest of the ingredients to the Crock-Pot. Cook on low for eight to 10 hours until the beef is tender. Pour beef on top of egg noodles before serving.
