Some unofficial copycat Cracker Barrel restaurant recipes are Old Country Store meatloaf, cheesy chicken and broccoli bake, and copycat biscuits. Some Cracker Barrel dessert recipes include cherry cobbler and cherry chocolate cobbler.
To make the Old Country Store meatloaf, mix 10 pounds of ground beef, 30 ounces of chopped onions, 1 pound of diced green bell peppers, 10 eggs and 1 1/2 quarts of diced canned tomatoes in a bowl by hand. Season the meatloaf mixture with 2 1/4 cups of grated biscuit crumbs, 5 tablespoons of salt and 1 1/2 tablespoons of pepper. Divide the mixture between 3 loaf pans, and bake the meatloaf at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 60 minutes in a convection oven. Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf before serving.
Make copycat biscuits by whisking together 2 1/4 cups of store-bought biscuit mix, 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar and 2/3 cup of buttermilk. Then stir in 1 tablespoon of melted butter until a dough forms. Roll the dough out on a floured surface, and cut out 1/2-inch-thick biscuits. Place the biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet, and brush them with melted butter before baking them at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for eight to 10 minutes.
