Stir occasionally until the tips are browned on all sides. Then add 1/3 cup of water for each pound of tips being cooked. Cover and cook until the desired doneness is reached.
Cook sirloin tips in a slow cooker by placing 2 pounds of raw sirloin tips into a slow cooker with mushrooms, garlic gloves, fresh thyme, parsley and marjoram, and add two cans of condensed golden mushroom soup.
