The simplest way to cook frozen corn is by boiling it. Boiling requires the fewest cooking utensils to produce a high-quality food. Needed are only a pot, water, a spoon, a strainer or colander, and salt, pepper or spices for seasoning.

Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil, making sure to put enough water to cover the corn. When the water comes to a boil, add the corn on the cob or loose corn. Stir or rearrange the corn for no more than seven minutes. With a fork, test the corn for tenderness. Then, drain in the colander and season to taste.
