To make a ham and coleslaw sandwich, blend 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup finely chopped onions and about 1 1/2 cups of coleslaw. Add 1/4 teaspoon of mustard if desired. Spread the mixture on each slice of bread. Layer on ham and lettuce. This recipe makes four sandwiches.
To make a Cobb salad sandwich, blend 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1/2 teaspoon of horseradish and 1/4 teaspoon of dry basil in a bowl. Then slice three hard-boiled eggs. Coat the bread with the mayonnaise blend and layer on the boiled egg slices, strips of bacon, ham, lettuce and tomato slices. This recipe serves four.
