The Sichuan Higher Institute of Cuisine, the Hutong Cuisine Cooking School and the Yangshuo Cooking School are some Chinese cooking schools. The classes are either in English or in Chinese with an English translator present.
The Sichuan Higher Institute of Cuisine, which is part of Sichuan Tourism College in Chengdu, is operated by the Chinese government. One-, two- and three-day private classes are offered for individuals or couples, and a two week comprehensive cooking course is offered in a classroom setting.
All classes at the Hutong Cuisine Cooking School are taught in English by a native Chinese chef. Located in Beijing, the school offers daily, one-week and two-week classes.
The Yangshuo Cooking School has two locations. The original school is located in the village of Chao Long, and a newer school is on the banks of the Li River. Daily and week-long courses are offered.
