Campbell's and Hellmann's both have simple and easy-to-follow recipes for turkey casseroles using leftover cooked turkey. Each recipe features a brand-name product as one of the ingredients.
To make Campbell's turkey casserole, stir 2 cans Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup milk, 2 cups frozen peas, 2 cups cubed leftover turkey and 6 ounces medium egg noodles in a 3-quart casserole. Stir 2 tablespoons plain dry bread crumbs and 1 tablespoon melted butter in a small bowl. Bake the mixture at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbling. Stir the turkey mixture, and sprinkle with the breadcrumb mixture.
To make Hellmann's turkey casserole, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray an 8-inch baking dish with no-stick cooking spray. Spoon in 2 cups prepared stuffing, and then top with 4 cups leftover turkey. Combine 1/4 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise with 1/4 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce. Spread evenly over turkey. Combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 cups leftover mashed potatoes and 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese in a large bowl, and mix thoroughly. Spread evenly over turkey, and top with 2 cups prepared stuffing. Bake for 40 minutes or until heated through. Garnish with dried cranberries if desired.
