  • 12 ounces swai fillets
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Vegetable oil

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2: If using frozen fillets, thaw before using. Completely thaw by placing the fillets in a bowl of cool water, or by placing them in the refrigerator for 24 hours. After thawed, or if fresh, rinse off the fish fillets and pat dry with a paper towel.

Step 3: Lightly coat a shallow baking dish with vegetable oil and place the fish in the pan. Season the fillets with the butter, lemon juice, salt and black pepper.

Step 4: Bake the fillets until they are opaque throughout, about 6 to 10 minutes per inch of thickness. Garnish with the fresh parsley and serve.
