Jell-O Shots with Vodka
This simple recipe, which yields 16 shots, lends itself to experimentation with different colors, shapes, flavors and substitutions of vodka with rum or other spirits. Any flavor of Jell-O works with vodka, and hosts should allow between 4 and 6 shots per guest.

- 3 ounces., Jell-O, flavored
- 8 ounces., boiling water
- 4 ounces, vodka
- 4 ounces, ice cold water
- Make the Jell-O mixture
- Add the vodka
- Fill the glasses
- Refrigerate and serve
Pour the boiling water into a mixing bowl and stir in the Jell-O until it has been dissolved. This should take no more than 2 minutes.
Stir in the vodka and ice cold water.
Set out 16 shot glasses and fill each with 1 ounce of the vodka Jell-O mixture. Disposable containers, such as paper or plastic cups, may also be used instead.
Refrigerate the shots until the vodka Jell-O is completely set. This usually takes at least 4 hours.
