Food Network and Allrecipes offer recipes for baked brie. Ina Garten offers a basic recipe at FoodNetwork.com, and Allrecipes.com offers a sweet recipe for baked brie wrapped in crispy phyllo dough.
To make Ina Garten’s baked brie, first set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to preheat. Cut a quarter wedge from a wheel of brie, and place it on a parchment paper-covered baking pan. Drizzle 4 tablespoons of honey evenly over the cheese. Bake the cheese for five to seven minutes or until the cheese is soft but not melting. Serve the baked brie with crackers to feed six to eight guests.
For a sweet baked brie, set the oven to 350 F. Brush a sheet of phyllo dough with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place another sheet on top of the first, and brush it with another tablespoon of olive oil. Top this with a third sheet of dough, and then place an 8-ounce wheel of brie on top of the dough stack near one of the edges. Roll the pastry over the cheese, fold the edges of the dough underneath and bake the wrapped cheese until the dough is golden brown, approximately 15 minutes. Top the baked brie with 1/4 cup of mango chutney to serve six guests.
