You can provide feedback to IHOP through a form on the Contact Us page of the company's website, as of March 2015. You can also call IHOP's guest relations line.
To contact IHOP, visit the IHOP home page, and click on Contact Us. On the drop down menu that appears, click Email Us. The form has fields for personal information, including name, phone number, email address and street address. It also has fields for information on the restaurant visited, the time of the visit, the server's name and if a manager visited the table. The final section is a comments field.
Al and Jerry Lapin founded IHOP in 1958. The first restaurant opened in Toluca Lake, California. The company then developed into a restaurant chain with over 1,500 restaurants open. Franchisees run 99 percent of the restaurants.
IHOP originally served only breakfast foods, such as pancakes, crepes and blintzes. It expanded its menu to include lunch and dinner items, such as chicken parmesan, country friend steak, tilapia florentine, roasted turkey dinner and t-bone steak and eggs. IHOP's website features a menu navigator for sorting through menu items and viewing nutritional information. The newest items are listed under featured items, while popular dishes are listed under signature favorites.
