Betty Crocker offers a timetable for roasting meats including beef, veal, pork and lamb. The pork chart provides time and temperature information for loin roast, crown roast and shoulder roast.
According to Betty Crocker, all three type of pork roast should be cooked in the oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Pork should stay in the oven for at least 20 minutes per pound. The pork should be taken out of the oven when an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit is reached. The meat's internal temperature should be taken again after a three-minute standing time.
Other pork items included on the temperature chart include ribs, tenderloin, ham and fresh legs.
