- 2 cans, dinner crescent rolls
- 1-1/2 to 2 lbs., lean ground beef
- 1 packet, taco seasoning mix
- 2 cups, shredded cheese
- Sour cream
- Step 1: Preheat the oven
- Step 2: Prepare the meat
- Step 3: Prepare the ring
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a medium skillet, crumble and cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until it is no longer pink, which takes about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and transfer the meat to a medium bowl. Stir in the taco seasoning with 2 tablespoons of water. Then, add half of the shredded cheese to the mixture.
On a baking dish or baking stone, separate the triangles from the crescent roll cans and then create a large circle, slightly overlapping the triangles. With a large spoon, transfer the meat mixture onto the crescent rolls and then roll over the dough to cover the mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and then bake for 25 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and fill the center with the lettuce and desired condiments.
