Seven ounces of Marshmallow Fluff or another brand of marshmallow creme may be substituted for the marshmallows in the official Rice Krispies treats recipe. The other ingredients in these treats are 3 tablespoons of butter and 6 cups of Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal.
Melting the butter and folding in the Marshmallow Fluff until it also melts creates the sticky coating for the cereal. The next step is to stir in the cereal until it becomes completely enveloped by the mixture. A buttered spatula can be used to spread the blend evenly over a large pan. When the treats cool, they are ready to cut and eat.
