To make an apple pie drink using a 190 proof grain alcohol, such as Everclear, mix the alcohol with apple cider, sugar, cinnamon sticks and apple juice. For small batches, such as single servings, use cinnamon powder instead of full sticks.
For a bulk batch, a pot that can hold over two gallons is necessary. Mix 1 gallon of apple cider, 1 gallon of apple juice, 6 cinnamon sticks, 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup brown sugar in the pot. Bring to a boil while regularly stirring until the sugar has fully dissolved in the liquid. Alternatively, bring the liquids to a boil first, and then add in the cinnamon and sugar for a shorter initial boiling time.
Once the sugar is fully dissolved, let the mixture cool until it reaches room temperature, then stir in 750 ml to 1 liter of alcohol. Discard the cinnamon sticks. Divide the mixture into canning jars, then store them in the refrigerator. The mixture is generally safe in a refrigerator for months, so a single batch lasts a long time. For a more strongly cinnamon flavor, or to keep it tasting fresh, put a bit of cinnamon stick in each jar before closing.
