An online list of fruits that are high in potassium is available on the National Kidney Foundation website. Potassium-rich fruits include avocado, banana, cantaloupe, mango and kiwi.
The National Kidney Foundation considers fruits that have more than 200 milligrams of potassium per serving to be high in potassium. Other than fresh fruits, the list of potassium-rich fruits also includes dried fruits such as prunes and raisins, as well as fruit juices such as grapefruit juice, orange juice and pomegranate juice. With the exception of individuals who have to restrict their potassium intake for certain medical conditions, a healthy diet usually includes around 3,500 to 4,500 milligrams of potassium per day.
