Order forms for Girl Scout cookies may be obtained from a local Girl Scout Council, a Girl Scout in the neighborhood or through the Girl Scouts website. Each Girl Scout council sets its own specific procedures, guidelines and time frames for selling cookies. Sometimes cookies can be purchased online.
One way to buy Girl Scout cookies, if a Girl Scout isn't available, is to find a local council on the Girl Scouts website. Some Girl Scout councils require girls to contact prospective customers, have them fill out pre-order forms and then deliver the cookies to their homes; others allow direct sales and booth sales. Starting in 2014, the Minneapolis and Houston councils allow some troops to sell cookies online or with mobile phones. Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. plans to launch this service nationwide eventually.
