Kraft Foods and the Food Network both provide easy cheese fondue recipes on their websites. Each recipe requires using different types of cheeses and other ingredients.
The Kraft recipe requires about 15 minutes to prepare for a total of 24 services. Ingredients include
1 8-ounce package of Kraft Shredded Triple Cheddar Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia and 1 8-ounce tub of cream cheese spread. It also calls for 3 teaspoons of cornstarch, 1 cup of chicken broth, 1/2 cup of dry white wine, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1/8 teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
Mix the corn starch and shredded cheese. In a medium saucepan, combine the other ingredients and allow them to simmer for 5 minutes. Add the corn starch and shredded cheese to the saucepan. Simmer the ingredients until the cheese has melted.
The Food Network recipe uses the same method of mixing and cooking the ingredients, and it yields 6 to 8 servings.
