Not only is it possible to deep fry a turkey breast, it is an easy way to see if the taste is something a family likes without having to fry a whole turkey. Frying turkey breast requires about 3 to 3.5 pounds of meat and enough oil to submerge it.
To begin frying the breast, place it in the deep fryer, and cover it with water so that there are about 2 inches of water above the meat. Remove the turkey, and then measure the water. The amount of water is the amount of oil needed.
Before cooking, pat the turkey dry and season it. Put the oil in the deep fryer, and then heat it to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook the breast for three minutes for each pound and then another five minutes. Remove the meat from the oil, drain it, and carve it for serving.
