Caffeine does not cause cellulite. The causes of cellulite include certain dietary habits, tight clothing at the buttocks, hormonal factors, lifestyle factors and genetics.
Those people who eat a diet high in carbohydrates, salt and fat and low in fiber are at risk for cellulite. The risk is higher for people who do not exercise, those who smoke and those who remain in one position for long times. Hormonal factors may include issues with the hormones estrogen, noradrenaline, prolactin, insulin and thyroid hormones. With genetics, some people are simply more vulnerable to developing cellulite and things like race and gender may also factor in.
