In the United States large butter manufacturers include Challenge Dairy, Tillamook Creamery, Darigold Creamery and Lucerne Foods. These manufactures produce butter that is commercially available in grocery stores across the US, including Kroger, Safeway, Albertson's and Wal-Mart. Each has regional manufacturing centers across the country in which butter is produced.
