Some basic bartender drink recipes include ones for a screwdriver, martini, mojito and bloody mary. The screwdriver is one of the most basic cocktails, made with orange juice, 1 shot of vodka and a proportionate amount of ice cubes.
To make a bloody mary, mix a glass of tomato juice with about 1/2 teaspoon of Tabasco sauce, 2 shots of vodka, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and juice from 1/2 a lemon. Shake the ingredients with ice cubes, salt and pepper, then pour into a glass. The bloody mary is often garnished with a celery stick, but many other garnishes can be substituted.
A martini can be made with vodka or gin. To make this drink, mix 1 shot of vermouth with 2 shots of either vodka or gin, and shake together with ice for a few seconds. Pour into a glass, and garnish with an olive.
For a mojito, put about 12 mint leaves, one lime wedge and a teaspoon of white sugar in the bottom of a glass, and crush them with a muddler. Fill the glass with ice, pour in one shot of rum, and fill the rest of the glass with Sprite, or soda and lime juice.
