Heritage Quest Online provides libraries with research materials for tracing family history and American culture. It is a subscription site only available through libraries. Some libraries allow their members access from home.
Heritage Quest Online provides information including census records with coverage dating back to the late 1700s. Heritage Quest also contains Revolutionary War era pension and bounty land warrant application files, Freedman's bank records as well as birth, marriage and death records. The website also contains a large collection of digitized books containing genealogy, local history, and directories for more then 40,000 families. Heritage Quest also holds records of the memorials, petitions, and private relief actions made to the US Congress back to 1789 with more then 480,000 pages of information.
