Peel 6 ripe plums, cut them in half, and remove the pit. Cover the fruits, and steam for about seven minutes until the skin is tender. Puree the plums in a food processor until smooth. Freeze the baby food in small servings, or cool and serve immediately.
Trio of root vegetable puree is made with 200 grams, or about 7 ounces, of sweet potato, 200 grams of carrots and 100 grams of parsnips. Peel and chop the root vegetables, and steam them about 20 minutes or until tender. Process the vegetables to the desired consistency, adding boiled water or formula as needed.
Cantaloupe cream contains yogurt and is suitable for babies and toddlers over 10 months of age. Place 1 cup of chopped cantaloupe in the food processor, along with 1/3 cup of banana and 1/4 cup of yogurt. Combine the ingredients until smooth, and serve immediately.
