Pen pals for kids can be found in plenty of places. According to PBS, one thing parents can do is ask friends or family members if any of them know someone living abroad with kids.
While asking family and friends for pen pal suggestions is an ideal starting point, pen pals for kids can be found in other ways, as well. If parents or guardians belong to a blogging community or other online community, chances are good they have friends who live in different areas. Online friends may have kids who would be interested in becoming a pen pal to another child. Schools are another source for finding pen pals. Many schools may have letter exchange programs with other schools in the area or abroad.
