Full Answer

The American Grandparents Association, or AGA, offers services and discounts to improve the quality of life of grandparents and assist them in maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle. Members of AGA have access to a community of fellow members with whom they can share life stories and discuss topics of interest. They also have access to a variety of discounts on items such as travel and health insurance, pet care and eyewear, as well as discounts on cinema tickets, resort and casino deals, and more.

Another aspect of AGA is helping grandparents understand their legal rights when dealing with grandchildren, or when being removed from grandchildren. To further assist those who are taking care of grandchildren, AGA offers resources that help grandparents find activities to do with their grandchildren, whether providing ideas for crafts and games or in finding organized activities for them to take part in.

AGA welcomes volunteers who wish to devote their time to the mentoring and assistance of grandparents and the Grandparents.com community.
