In Microsoft Word, the process to set the document formatting to double space is to right-click the Normal option in the Styles group on the Home tab and click Modify. Then, choose the Double Space button under Formatting, and click OK.
In Microsoft Word 2007, 2010 and 2013, one can set a document to double space via modifying the Normal option under the Styles group. An alternative way to do this is to click the Page Layout tab, click the down arrow in the bottom right corner next to Paragraph, go to the Indents and Spacing tab in the Paragraph window, select Double under the Line Spacing drop-down, and click OK.
If using Google Docs, one can click on the Format menu, choose the Line Spacing option, then choose Double. Another way is to click on the Line Spacing button with the bidirectional up-down arrow in the gray toolbar, then choose Double.
