Wichita State University is located at 1845 Fairmount St. in Wichita, Kan. The university also operates four satellite locations to provide additional opportunities for students and the community to attend classes.
In addition to the 330-acre main campus, the four satellite campuses include the South campus, the West campus, the Downtown Center and the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex. The South campus is located in Derby, Kan. and is home to the accelerated nursing program. The West campus is located at 3801 Walker Ave. in western Wichita and features additional classroom and computer lab space. The Downtown Center is located 358 N. Main St. and is home to the Center for Community Support & Research. The Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex features an auditorium, theater and gymnasium and is located at 5015 E. 29th St. N in Wichita.
