Of the Social Security Administration's list of the top 1,000 most common baby names, the five lowest-ranking male names from 2014 U.S. births were Tyree, Ean, Leif, Reagan and Rylen. The five lowest-ranking female names on the list were Belen, Cambria, Natalya, Kaelynn and Kai.
In 2014, the top 1,000 names comprised around 75 percent of all names babies in U.S. births received. Only 200 to 300 babies received each of the least popular names. Far more popular were Noah and Emma, the most popular boy and girl names for 2014, each belonging to around 20,000 of the year's newborns.
