Texas A&M university is a public school located in College Station, Texas. It is the sixth-largest university in the United States. It was originally established as an agricultural and mechanical school in the 1870s and developed the Aggie mascot. But, in the 1960s its curriculum was expanded, and it has developed a full academic palette with many highly rated departments.
Baylor University is a 150-year-old private Christian school located in Waco, Texas. The school is a nationally ranked research institution. Baylor Bears come from all cultural and religious backgrounds, but the University maintains a strong connection with and campus influence of its Baptist affiliation.
