VmathLive is a game-oriented math program tailored for students between grades two and eight. It features a series of activities that helps students develop problem-solving strategies and practice essential math concepts and skills.
VmathLive's creative engagement strategies, such as trophies, points and badges, keep students motivated and actively involved. The activities are grouped into modules that cover a year's worth of math instruction. Students prove their mastery of activities by consecutively completing eight, nine or ten activities. At the end of each module, they take a module test. Students who pass the test advance to the next module and receive a new avatar, bonus points and a certificate.
Throughout the learning process, students respond to questions covering specific math topics. After successfully completing activities, the students earn tokens. For assistance, students get hints and access to a virtual tutor. Students compete with each other in real-time games. Twenty of these games test the students' math fact fluency and mental math skills.
Thanks to VmathLive's intelligent and intuitive dashboard, teachers can easily monitor their students' progress. The dashboard provides important statistics such as the number of logins, the number of students reaching the online goals and the average daily time spent with the program.
