Full Answer

The "First in Math" K to 8 program has six modules accompanied by online educational games designed to teach mathematical, numerical, problem-solving, communication and reasoning skills to students. These six modules are Skill Sets, Just the Facts, Know & Show, Workout Gyms, Bonus Games and Measurement World. Modules cover different skill sets; for example, through Measurement World, students gain practice in measurements involving money, time, area, volume and other items.

Within each module, users complete the basic games to gain access to bonus games. Some modules are further broken down into component modules that correspond to grade level, so users or their parents should be sure to choose the correct grade. Students can earn virtual award stickers by utilizing the program's Competition/Rankings component, as can additional Family Link users.

If the user is a school-aged student, he needs a user ID to gain access to the program. Schools or teachers provide this information.
