Use dedicated McGraw Hill e-textbooks the same way you use any other digital textbooks, by opening and viewing the files with e-book viewing software. Use McGraw Hill's online e-textbooks by logging into the Connect platform and navigating to the chapter you want to read.
McGraw Hill's dedicated e-textbooks are largely digitized versions of its traditional ink-and-paper textbooks. Most of the dedicated e-textbooks McGraw hill publishes are available in PDF format. Open PDF files using Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader or any one of a number of other free programs. E-textbooks provide the same content as traditional textbooks, but allow searching by keyword, text-to-speech conversion, translation and other useful functions.
McGraw also provides e-textbooks through its online Connect learning platform. Many of McGraw Hill's e-textbooks and traditional ink-and-paper textbooks include free Connect codes, particularly for online or hybrid college classes. Connect is a fully featured learning tool with interactive exercises, videos, quizzes and tests in addition to the textbook. Use a Connect e-textbook by logging into Connect and selecting your course. You can read a Connect e-textbook the same way as a regular e-textbook, but you can also take advantage of the exercises and videos that appear as you work your way through the chapter.
How you log into Connect largely depends on your course. Some courses require you to log into Connect directly through McGraw Hill's website, while most colleges allow you log into Connect from your Blackboard dashboard.
