Is UCLA a Good School?

The University of California - Los Angeles is a well-regarded school. In 2013, UCLA ranked 23rd out of all national universities, according to U.S. News and World Report's annual rankings.

Ninety-seven percent of all of UCLA's freshmen return for their sophomore year. Ninety percent of UCLA students graduate within six years. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 to 17. Slightly more than 50 percent of the university's classes have fewer than 20 students, and only 22 percent have 50 or more. In general, UCLA is not an easy school to get into; in 2013, only about 20 percent of applicants were accepted.
