San Jacinto College is a community college founded in 1961 in Texas. This school offered in more than 185 degrees and certificate programs in areas that include business, health sciences, career and technical education, fine arts, industrial technology and liberal arts as of 2015. In the career and technical education area there are courses in aviation, fire protection technology, construction technology, air conditioning technology and audio engineering.

Although San Jacinto College offers traditional on-campus courses, it also provides online classes that can lead to either a degree or certificate in some of these programs. The school also has workforce training courses. Some other online classes listed for the Fall 2015 semester are Art Appreciation, Applied Physics, Art History, Beginning Spanish, Behavior Modification and Cognitive Disorders, Biology for Non-Science Majors I and II and British Literature I and II.
