ACT KeyTrain offers courses, a training catalog and an ACT National Career Readiness Certificate, the latter which provides a national standard in certifying workplace skills. Course categories are ACT KeyTrain Suite for WorkKeys Skills, the Soft Skills Suite and ACT Career Ready 101.
As of 2015, courses within the ACT KeyTrain Suite for WorkKeys Skills category include Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology–Electricity, Business Writing, Listening for Understanding and Reading for Information. The KeyTrain website designates which courses support the National Career Readiness Certificate. The Soft Skills Suite includes Customer Service, Interpersonal and Business Communication, Problem Solving and Critical Thinking, Working in Teams and Workplace Discipline. Courses in the ACT Career Ready 101 category include The Job Search and Financial Awareness.

ACT issues its National Career Readiness Certificate at four levels. ACT WorkKeys provides the assessment basis of the program. The certificate program measures skills such as the ability to perform basic mathematical operations, understanding common graphics in the workplace, understanding written documents and performing higher-level math operations related to work.
