The top three colleges for undergraduate architecture degrees are Cornell University, California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and Rice University, according to a 2015 report by DesignIntelligence. DesignIntelligence ranks Harvard University, Columbia University and Yale University as the top three graduate programs for architecture.
Harvard University's Department of Architecture is part of the Graduate School of Design. The department offers two programs leading to a Master of Architecture: one for students who have a bachelor degree in architecture and one for those who do not.
Cornell University offers undergraduate students a program that leads to the bachelor of architecture degree. The degree program takes five years to complete and includes several concentrations, such as history of architecture, architectural analysis and visual representation in architecture.
