McDougal Littell Answers provides answers for history, math, science and literature textbooks that were published by McDougal Littell. The website McDougallLittellAnswers.com has no affiliation with the textbook publisher, who has since merged with Holt and is now known as Holt McDougal.
As of 2015, the website dedicated to providing answers for McDougal Littell textbooks has not been updated with new answers since the 2013-14 school year textbook release. Answers are available for test, workbook, study guide and homework questions from middle and high school textbooks dating back to 2004.
To access the answers, students select the subject of the book (e.g., history, math, science or literature) from the navigation bar on the homepage. On the following page, users identify and click on the relevant textbook. From the book's page, students are able to choose the appropriate chapter from the drop-down list, and then select the type of answer key (e.g., test, workbook, homework or study guide). As of 2015, the website requires users to complete an offer before the answer key is displayed.
Slader.com is another source for McDougal Littell textbook answers, and it is free and provides a moderated forum for students to find additional solutions to textbook problems. Slade also offers answers to textbooks from other publishers, including Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
