The TEAS V exam is the fifth version of the Test of Essential Academic Skills, which measures competency in four subject areas: reading, science, mathematics and language usage. The TEAS V exam has 170 multiple-choice questions, and it is a requirement for students applying to nursing and allied health programs.
The TEAS V is available only as a computer-based exam. It is divided into four subject sections and administered over 209 minutes, with no breaks between sections. Test-takers are not permitted to use calculators during the exam. The results of the TEAS V exam can be accessed within 48 hours.
