TeacherEase is Web-based software that allows teachers to manage instruction-related duties more efficiently and communicate with parents more effectively. It offers standards-based lesson planning, grade book and performance analysis features to maximize organization and help teachers save time. TeacherEase also provides a way to create and share information such as lesson plans, assignments, student progress, feedback and more for easy, transparent communication between educators, administrators and parents.
For example, a mother may log in to check her son's grade on a particular assignment and email the teacher to inquire about his behavior in class. This saves time for both the teacher and the mother, as neither has to call the other and schedule a conference. The teacher can quickly email the student's progress along with any supplemental material such as videos, missed assignments and permission slips. From virtually anywhere, teachers may share lesson plans across various subjects to ensure reinforcement of a particular concept for student improvement. This is especially helpful with academic intervention, coplanning or creating data-based instruction.
The software may be utilized by individual teachers or an entire school district with support services included to ensure successful usage. TeacherEase became available for public use during the 2001 through 2002 school year.
