By simply logging in to the Web-based Think Through Math program with the login information his parent or teacher provides, a student works through material designed specifically for him. Each student begins the program with a diagnostic assessment to determine his learning needs and follows the curricular plan set out by his classroom teacher. The student can ask for help from an online teacher, and parents can see their child's progress as he works through the program.
The Think Through Math program is useful as primary instruction, enhancement of the curriculum, or as an enrichment tool for gifted students. It provides instruction to students, opportunities for practice, and assistance to those students who need it. The program also offers a continual assessment of student performance to adjust learning paths as necessary.
The Think Through Math program uses games, badges, avatars and teamwork to motivate and engage students in mathematics. There is live teacher support available for students who need assistance, and students receive weekly progress reports showing their usage and progress. All of this is available on any device the student can access, anywhere. The Think Through Math program is aligned with state learning standards from grade 3 through Algebra 1 (according to Common Core and state standards for 25 states).
