Does the State University of New York Offer Nursing Courses?

The State University of New York offers multiple nursing programs. It has undergraduate and graduate courses available at many of its campuses, as well as online.

The undergraduate program has several options available. It provides tracks for associate as well as bachelor's degrees. Several locations offer a certificate in practical nursing in lieu of a degree. The school's Hudson Valley Community College campus also offers a specialized evening track.

The graduate programs have courses to obtain certificates, baccalaureates, masters and doctorate degrees in more specialized nursing fields. As of 2015, eight of the school's campuses offer these programs.

The State University of New York also has both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs available online. The Plattsburgh campus additionally offers courses for registered nurses to complete a bachelor's of science degree in nursing.
