The University of Notre Dame is located in Notre Dame, Indiana. It is a faith-based college, and as of 2014, students attending the school represent all 50 states.
According to the U.S. News and World Report, Notre Dame regularly places in the lists of top 25 colleges, as of 2014. Notre Dame was founded in 1842 by Reverend Edward Sorin and has always kept faith and morals as some of its highest priorities. On July 1, 2005, Reverend John I. Jenkins became the university's 17th president. Father Jenkins had previously served Notre Dame as vice president, associate provost and a professor of philosophy.
