The copy machines at the Akron Public Library offer color and black-and-white outputs. They take coins and $1 bills. Users can make double-sided copies on these machines on either 8.5-inch-by-11-inch or 11-inch-by-17-inch papers.
In addition, users can use the copy machines to scan photos and documents. The scanning service is free, and users can save the scanned copies on a USB drive or send them to an email address.
The Fax24 kiosks provide local and long-distance faxing services. They accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Users can also pay with prepaid fax cards available for sale at the library���s circulation desk.
Local non-profit organizations, units of government and elected government officials can use the library���s meeting rooms without charge. The auditorium provides seating for 425 people and offers basic sound and lighting support. The library does not allow food or uncovered drinks in the auditorium.
Meeting room 1 has 50 chairs and 25 chairs and tables. The first-floor meeting room is classroom style with a 50-person capacity. Electrical outlets are not available. Users cannot use the meeting rooms for private or commercial purposes unless they have paid the required fee.
