EducationCity offers schools time-saving tools for teacher instruction and assessment, as well as individualized learning paths, engaging student activities and standards-aligned subject matter for students. The program provides digital learning in the fields of language arts, science, math and computing, as well as English studies for non-native speakers.
EducationCity aligns itself to both state and Common Core standards, ensuring that schools and districts are meeting government requirements while using the program. Teachers can also spend less time creating test material, as EducationCity comes with both summative and diagnostic assessments in math, language arts and science. EducationCity's Success Tracker allows teachers to view individual student progression.
The program serves student achievement by offering an individualized learning pathway according to student needs. It also makes the educational experience more engaging to children through colorful games and activities that impart number and language skills. These exercises give the students immediate feedback, enabling them to concentrate on specific problem spots before moving on. Education City also aims at developing each student's freedom of expression through its Student Tools component. Student Tools is available under the Computing section, and is an open-ended activity that enables students to develop their own ideas in their own way.
