The West Bend school district includes the Rolfs early childhood education center, Decora Elementary School, Silverbrook Intermediate School and East High School, according to the West Bend School District's website. There are a total of 13 schools in the district, including Pathways Charter School.

In 2013 West High School was rated the fourth-best high school in all of Wisconsin by US News and World Report, states the West Bend School District. West Bend is the 17th-largest district in the state of Wisconsin and its students perform above state averages.
As of December 2015, 7,008 students are enrolled in the district. Approximately 33 percent of the students in the district qualify as economically disadvantaged compared to 40 percent overall for the state of Wisconsin. A total of 88 percent of the student body is identified as white and non-Hispanic while the state overall consists of 73 percent white, non-Hispanic students. Additionally, 2.4 percent of the students in West Bend are black, 6 percent are Hispanic, 1.2 percent are Asian or Pacific Islander and 0.6 percent are Alaskan native or American Indian, states Neighborhood Scout.
