One requirement for the Allegheny County Medical Society Medical Student scholarship is that the applicant must be a resident for at least 12 months of one of six Pennsylvania counties including Allegheny, Armstrong and Beaver, as well as Butler, Washington or Westmoreland, explains Scholarships. The application deadline is on September 30th yearly and the scholarship is for two medical students who receive $2,000. The Allegheny Mountain Section Air and Waste Management Association scholarship is for Pennsylvania residents living west of the Susquehanna river and West Virginia residents. It is for students who are already in an undergraduate program or high school seniors accepted into an undergraduate program. The annual application deadline is March 31.
The Alliance Medical Education scholarship is for Pennsylvania medical school students who qualify.
