Rutgers, a colonial college and pubic institution, comprises 32 schools and colleges and has multiple locations throughout New Jersey. New Brunswick, Newark, Piscataway, Stratford, Scotch Plains and Blackwood are just some of the cities and towns it occupies.
The flagship campus of the State University of New Jersey is nearly 2,700 acres in size and is split into five mini-campuses, all located in New Brunswick. This is the home of Rutgers University-New Brunswick; there is also a Rutgers University-Camden and in New Jersey's largest city, Newark, there is Rutgers University-Newark. All of these universities have their respective graduate and business schools.
